GEM Theater Productions is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization established as the theater arm of Grace Evangelistic Ministries (GEMinistries) in 2016. Playwright, Jacqueline Hudson Thomas had a vision of establishing a local theater group that would be dedicated to providing quality theater using local residents in under-served communities. We provide opportunities for local talent to showcase their gifts keeping in line with moral standards and values. Each play is original and presents original songs, music, and local talent.
GEM believes that moral and ethical values should be presented in ways that can reach all of mankind, young and old, and regardless of nationality or personal preferences. The GEM Theater helps us to reach this goal.
GEM Theater productions highlight real life situations providing solutions that give birth to a new and innovative means of encouraging mankind to live together in peace and well-being.
GEM Theater partners with other non-profits in support of their fundraising activities in the production of theater events. For more information, please contact us.
Like many organization 2019 productions would be the last ones because of the COVID19 Pandemic. In 2023 we once again began performing with the production of The Eagle Stirs Her Nest. 2024 proved to be a most difficult year, with the loss of several of our regular crew, however, 2025 is filled with promise as we visualize two full productions, and the establishment of the Night of Improv headed by Gen Z, actress and singer, Ariana Thomas.
